Since 1999, we have been researching, writing, designing and producing chronicles, memoranda, jubilee books and memoirs. We are also your editor, illustrator and layout professional, all rolled into one. Once our work meets your final approval we will take care of the binding and printing.

We support companies to use their company history for business communication ("History Communication") and marketing ("History Marketing"). Together with our client, we answer the question of how the origin and culture of a company can be professionally communicated.

We research the history of our client and integrate it into the historical circumstances, development of its industry, its region and other important influencing factors. For 30 years, we have been working as journalists, writing interesting texts for employees, business partners and customers.

We support families to document their history in a family chronicle for future generations. The quicker our time is, the more important it is to record the experiences of the grandparents’ and parents’ generation in interviews before they fall silent.

Each family has its own distinctive style. Interviews with personal descriptions and anecdotes are therefore very important. They uniquely reflect this uniqueness.

We embed these personal memories into the historical framework. We are happy to add private photos to historical photos. We create the layout and, together with our client, determine the appropriate presentation form, usually the representative book bound in linen or leather.

Marketing and translation of Scandinavian specialist book authors

We distribute manuscripts and publications from Scandinavian specialist authors, especially within Health care and health professionals, to German-speaking publishers. And we translate these works from Danish, Norwegian and Swedish into German.

We are searching for materials and topics on the spot and see ourselves as a hinge between authors and publishers. We also support the German-speaking publishing house in the application of the title.

About Us

Kai-Axel Aanderud

The Hamburg-based agency aanderud media consulting. successful communications was founded in 1999. The team around Managing Owner Kai-Axel Aanderud consists of permanent and freelance employees. Depending on the project requirements, specialists from the disciplines of graphic design, online design, search engine marketing (SEM) and search engine optimization (SEO) as well as translation (Danish, Norwegian, Swedish) are integrated.

Kai-Axel Aanderud studied history, politics and economics in Kiel, Oslo and Heidelberg (Master). Subsequently, he worked for the ZDF in Mainz in the editorial offices “contemporary history” and “news”. For the department “foreign politics”, the son of a Norwegian father and a German mother reported on the state visit of Germanys’ President Richard v. Weizsäcker to Norway.

After studying at the Axel Springer Academy, “considered the most progressive school of journalism in the German speaking world”, Kai-Axel Aanderud worked as a political editor in Berlin until the fall of the wall in 1989. In his book “The Walled City. The History of the Berlin Wall” (Willy Brandt: “an important orientation”) he skilfully processed this dark chapter of German history.

After a trainee program in the Axel Springer Publishing Group, Kai-Axel Aanderud worked in the Boards’ Office in Hamburg. Later, he was responsible for the Electronic Media Division at the Bauer Media Group as a Publishing Director and successfully led the division into the black figures.

After a year as Managing Director in the Ganske Publishing Group, Kai-Axel Aanderud founded his agency focused on the production of magazines, biographies and chronicles as well as on German-Scandinavian business mediation, media consulting and communications. A further field of activity is the mediation and translation of Norwegian books into German.

Kai-Axel Aanderud has been committed to German-Scandinavian networks for many years and thus makes an important contribution to the deepening of bilateral relations. He is, inter alia, Chairman of the Board of the Peer Gynt Club (www.peer-gynt.org/kai-axel-aanderud) Member of the Board of the Edvard-Munch-House in Warnemünde (www.edvard-munch-haus.de/de/verein/vorstand) and Member of the Advisory Council of Norwegians Worldwide (http://nww.no/network-frontpage/about-us/board).
